Five Popular Places to Explore in Hilton Head

Planning a holiday is the most challenging task for a family member. There is so much to consider that it becomes almost impossible to make everyone happy. This post talks about some of the best places to visit in Hilton Head on your next trip.

Hilton head is a popular location due to its beaches and amazing water sports. However, the place is a lot more than that. You will come across some of the brilliant locations to explore in Hilton head tours. You can rent a kayak and explore the waterways, take a bike ride, go shopping, sunbathe at the beach, go for Hilton Head Dolphin Tours and a lot more.

1.    Shelter Cove is number one

The Neptune statue guards the entrance to Shelter Cove, luring visitors to one of the island's most beautiful destinations. Its location, just off Palmetto Dunes Resort, makes it ideal for summer events such as Harbour Fest, a fun event that has bouncy houses, face painting, cotton candy, ice cream, games, and live music. The marina in this picturesque bay, located off Broad Creek, holds boats and yachts of various sizes. Guests may participate in a variety of aquatic sports such as kayaking, jet-skiing, and other fun activities.

2.    Coligny

Head to Coligny for the ultimate all-in-one Hilton Head experience, which includes a commercial complex and a beach park. Coligny Plaza and Beach Market contain the most shops and restaurants of all of the island's shopping centers, as well as a few outdoor vendors selling temporary tattoos, airbrushed shirts, hair wraps, and bike and water float rentals.

3.    Harbor Town

Harbour Town may be bustling with shops and restaurants, as well as a diverse range of attractions. The red-and-white striped lighthouse and the Harbour Town Golf Links, however, is what placed this hotspot on the map. The RBC Heritage visitors and golfers congregate here at the end of the day's festivities.

4.    South Beach

Another one-stop-shop for food, shopping, and enjoyment right on the Hilton head is South Beach! It's the island's version of a boardwalk, with shops and restaurants coming up on the docks that run beside Braddock Cove. Although all of these centers have access to water, not all of them are located on the water, such as South Beach.

5.    Broad Creek

This large creek cuts the island into two, but there’s one spot that shouldn’t be missed- it’s called the Broad Creek Marina. This location comes with all the outdoor fun activities that include the zip line, kayak, boat rentals, and dolphin tours.
